Hi,
Have you made any changes on the computer prior to this issue?
Follow the below mentioned methods:
Method 1:

Try to perform start up repair and check.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/startup-repair

Method 2: Run Check disk from Windows Recovery Environment and check.
In Win Recovery Environment mode.
To run check disk, you have to have Windows 7 DVD, boot the computer to Win RE from the elevated command prompt, and try to do a CHKDSK.
You can follow these steps to run CHKDSK :

1) Use the Windows 7 DVD to start the computer in Windows Recovery (WinRE).
2) In WinRE, open a command prompt.
To do this, follow these steps:
On the Install Windows screen, select the appropriate Language to install, Time and
currency format, and Keyboard or input method options, and then click Next.
3) Click Repair your computer.
4) Click the Windows 7 installation that you want to repair, and then click Next.
5) Click Command Prompt.

At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
chkdsk drive: /f
chkdsk drive: /r
Note: In both the above commands, drive: represents the driveletter for the hard drive partition where Windows is installed in your computer.

Method 3:
Perform system restore from safe mode:
Start your computer in safe mode
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
System Restore
http://windows.microsoft.com/is-IS/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

If it didn’t work then perform System restore from System Recovery Option.
